I don’t know about you, but I feel like I blinked and the holidays were gone. Read: I didn’t get to eat enough cookies.

When I saw the fabulous New Year’s Eve Party supplies in the dollar section at Target, I just had to put together a black and gold dessert table to ring in the New Year.

I love a good bargain and Target’s seasonal decorations have been on point. Going into Target for a single item (I am looking at you, hairspray) is practically impossible without a stroll through the dollar section. They make it so easy with all the coordinating items to pull together a party table quickly and on a budget – both wins in my book.

Just buy or bake some cupcakes, add some edible gold stars to chocolate dipped cookies (see this post on how to dip cookies), and set up your dollar spot haul.

I like to make my tables have various heights by stacking cake stands (yes, I need an intervention) and using decorations from front to back.
