One of the staples at any of my family gatherings is my Mom’s pink punch! It is a favorite with the kids (sherbet and soda for the win!) and I am a sucker for it too – especially since it is so easy to make and serve!

How to Make Pink Sherbet Punch

Buy a carton of raspberry sherbet and leave it out on the counter at room temperature to thaw it slightly. You want the sherbet to slide out of the carton in one big piece into your punch bowl. Once you have your big chunk of sherbet in your punch bowl, slowly pour one liter of clear soda over the sherbet. Be careful! It will get foamy!

Easy peasy!  Your pink punch is ready to enjoy.

I like to garnish glasses and mason jars with sprinkles for an extra festive pop of fun – and let’s be real… I like the extra sugar!

Now, I have a confession to make: as a kid, I loved to scoop out a piece of sherbet with the punch ladle and eat my sherbet punch with a spoon. (Whoa there sweet tooth!) Since I am older (and wiser) I make individual sized sherbet punch glasses in mason jars and have stopped breaking punch ladles trying to get sherbet out of the punch bowl!

Instead of putting the whole carton of sherbet in the punch bowl, I put two scoops in a mason jar and add my soda on top. Remember to watch out for the foam!
