You Hold The Pieces Together – Boss’s Day Gift

When you have an amazing boss, it is important to tell them they hold the pieces together. So this is my annual “Bosses Day thank you gift” post. Every year I create a gift for my boss on bosses day – it is in October every year. Write it down. You should write it down and tell your boss thank you.

Finding a fun boss’s day gift isn’t always easy – and most bosses don’t need another coffee cup. I like to find creative bosses day gift ideas or make my own like I did this year!

Create your own boss’s day gift basket with some of these jars and a couple of other boss-themed gifts.

That’s right… I’m cheezy and I know it.
Estimated Time: 10 Minutes

Skill Level:  Beginner

Supplies:

White paper
Adhesive (I used a scrapbook taper runner like this one)

Creating Your Bosses Day Gift Jar:

  1. Download and print the Bosses Day graphic (you can get yours HERE).
  2. I trimmed along the black border with a pair of scissors but you could also use a circle punch or a cutting machine to cut them out.
  3. I put some adhesive on the back of the printable and stuck it to the jar lid and it was good to go.
  4. Fill the jar with Reese’s Pieces and call it a day! – That is my kind of crafting.

I contemplated putting a ribbon around the jar, but I really liked how simple the jar looked and I left it alone.

Some other exciting stuff:

Houston is constantly making images for me (my blog logo, post images, and everything in between). Lucky for me, he lets me pay him with kisses and chocolate chip cookies. Lucky for you, he is going to make all the graphics available to you as well! Hooray!

He recently re-launched his website and has also opened an Etsy shop where he will make graphics like this one available for purchase.

Don’t need to make one for boss’s day? He has created several versions for your “thank you” needs: friends, family, etc. HBL Designs has you covered.

Thanks for supporting our dreams!
