I love attending parties and making sure my gift coordinates with the party theme. Keep reading to see how to assemble an airplane baby shower gift.
Last month I had the joy of attending one of my best friend’s baby showers. Her sweet baby boy is due to arrive any day now, and we just can’t wait to meet him. Her sweet sisters created the most adorable airplane-themed baby shower complete with maps, suitcases, and airplanes that flew around the living room attached to helium balloons.
I assembled an airplane themed baby shower gift, complete with a leather trunk that I used as the gift bag. I love that the mommy-to-be will be able to use the trunk in the baby’s room if she would like instead of it being just another gift bag to discard.
I filled the trunk with airplane items, an airplane book I signed as a card per the invitation, and then a couple things from the baby registry. I always make sure to include gift receipts when I include items that aren’t from a registry. I started finding items online by just searching for “airplane baby”. Be careful – the online shopping is fun and can be a bit of a rabbit hole when you really get to searching.
Here are some of my favorites:
1. Wing Man Bibs
2. Cozy Blanket
3. Pacifier Clip
4. Onesies
5. Leather Trunk
6. Aviator Cap
7. Airplane Toy and Book
8. Art Print
9. Bandana Bibs
10. Book
I love how easy it was to put together a festive airplane themed baby shower gift – seriously only took a couple minutes to fold everything and arrange it all in the trunk. I put two pieces of tissue paper in the bottom of the trunk with the ends sticking out, filled the trunk with my gifts, and then folded the ends of the tissue paper to cover the gifts. In hindsight I would have loved to secure the tissue paper together with an airplane sticker.
I can’t wait to share more of my fun gift roundups with you in the future – and maybe next time I will plan ahead and take a photo of the finished package.
