What Fits Inside A Missy JoTotes Camera Bag

I have a lot of nicknames. But the one that really defines me is what my co-workers call me: The bag lady.
At any given time I have a minimum of two bags with me. I carry my purse, lunch bag, my gym bag, and school work. That doesn’t include the times I also carry my camera laptop or a million other things with me. It is pretty funny to see me load and unload my car every day, but I just hate needing something throughout the day and realizing it is at home. I carry a lot of stuff with me, but you better believe that I am always the one to come through in a pinch when a friend needs something.
I had been pining over the Beautiful camera bags from JoTotes for months. I have had the Missy bag on my wish list on Pinterest for over a year but just couldn’t spend the money on it when there was wedding stuff to pay for.
I was so excited when my sweet husband surprised me with a gift card to buy my favorite bag. I scolded him for the extra splurge, but inside I was positively giddy. It took me over a month to decide which one I really wanted and I settled on the Missy bag in mint. I was so shocked at how quickly it arrived and when did cartwheels when I opened the package. It’s about the size of my regular handbag (I told you I was the bag lady) so it’s not obnoxiously big like some other camera bags I was looking at.
I was obsessed with looking at other bloggers posts that showed their Missy JoTotes (to visualize size) and what they were able to pack inside of it, but I thought I would break down just how much stuff I can fit in this bag, with space to spare!
• Camera body
• Lens
• External flash
• Wallet
• Cell phone
• Pens
• Makeup bag
• Surface Pro 2 laptop
• Blogging Planner (you can print this for free here)
• Sunglasses
• Emergency toiletry bag – not pictured (hey, a girl has to be prepared)
That still leaves 2 internal zippered pockets practically empty, an empty front flap pocket, and the zippered pocket on the back of the bag.
When I say I can cram a lot of stuff into this bag, I am not fooling around. I also frequently take an extra battery pack with me and it slides in next to the external flash easily.
I love that the bottom of the bag as feet to protect the bag when I have to set it down on the ground or under my desk at work.
If you would like to see the size of the bag, I have two great examples for you:
Amy showed off her black Missy Jo Tote and a fun mural wall in a style shoot. Click here.
Laura has the brown Missy Jo Tote and did her own post about what she packs in her bag – clearly she is not nearly as big of a hoarder as I am. Click here.
Well, that’s all three colors that are available; black, brown, and the mint Missy camera bags from JoTotes. Which one would you pick?
Tell me in the comments!
