DIY Jar Tutus Inspired by Wonder Woman

I don’t know about you, but this year seems to be flying by to me. It will be June before I know it, but that also means that the Wonder Woman movie will be here too and I couldn’t be more excited. Keep reading to see how I made DIY Inspired by Wonder Woman Jar Tutus.
I love to create movie inspired crafts to celebrate movies that I am really excited to see and this summer, I can’t wait to see Wonder Woman in theaters on June 2nd! I even received a package full of fun Wonder Woman merchandise and treats that totally got me excited for my craft project.
My jar tutus are perfect for home movie nights with Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn and an ice cold Dr Pepper® but I also love the idea of making one for each of my best friends and celebrating them being amazing women themselves. They would look great with packages of Orville Redenbacher’s® popcorn (I love the pop-up butter bowls) and a couple cans of Dr Pepper in a pretty gift basket.
You can find everything you need to get ready for a movie night or for an inspired by Wonder Woman gift basket at your local Kroger store – I shop at Ralphs. Supplies:
Empty Mason Jar
Elastic
Colored Tulle
Glitter Cardstock
How to Make your Jar Tutu:
Put the elastic around the middle of the mason jar and tie in a knot.
Cut 2 x 6 inch strips of tulle.
Thread the tulle under the elastic and tie in a knot.
Repeat until the jar has a tutu and add tulle until you are happy with the fullness.
Cut out a circle, a large star, and 10-12 smaller stars from your glitter cardstock.
Attach the circle to the mason jar lid and add the large star to the circle with some adhesive.
Add adhesive to the backs of the small stars and randomly add them to the tutu.
Fill the jars with delicious Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn and close the lid. When you’re ready to enjoy, just remove the lid.
For a beverage, remove the lid and add some ice-cold Dr Pepper. Finish your jar with a festive paper straw and enjoy!
