If you have a cranky toddler or hypoglycemic friend, you should always be prepared with a “mom’s got snacks” bag filled with food or treats.
Years ago I was at a work event with some co-workers when everyone started to get hungry. My amazing store manager pulled out a tote bag full of chips and other snacks for us and one coworker exclaimed “Mom’s got snacks!”
Are you the person who always packs snacks when you leave the house? Now you can make a cute tote bag with this Mom’s Got Snacks SVG from the freebie library.
How To Get The Mom’s Got Snacks SVG:
Click here to subscribe to the free cut file library and Polka Dotted Blue Jay newsletter.
Once subscribed you will get a welcome email with a link to the freebie library and the password to get access to the files.
Find the file you would like to use and click the image to download it to your computer.
If you’ve already subscribed but can’t remember the password, check your inbox for a newsletter email, the link and password are always included.
I rarely leave the house without apple sauce, goldfish (with Mickey Mouse, of course), and a bag or two of chips. Better to be over-prepared than caught empty-handed with a hungry toddler!
One of my Fab 5 girlfriends is an excellent stepmom so I also included a “Smom’s Got Snacks” version in the library for you too.
Tips for making a Mom’s Got Snacks Tote Bag:
Make sure your tote bag is a cotton one. Pressing HTV on polyester or plastic-backed burlap will mess up your heat press or iron.
If you would like to use polyester, that’s a great opportunity to do some sublimation or screen printing.
Use a heat press that covers your whole design. An iron will work too – just work in sections instead of trying to heat the whole design at one time.
Supplies Needed:
- Silhouette CAMEO®
- Silhouette Cutting Mat
- Weeding Hook
- Silhouette Studio – use the Business Edition to make importing SVGs easy
- Heat Transfer Vinyl – The color of your choice
- Plain Tote Bag
- Iron or heat press
- Free Mom’s Got Snacks cut file
