It’s no secret that I am a fan of Chip and Joanna Gaines. #shiplapallthethings! So when I saw this whitewashed sign at Michael’s, I grabbed it and made a Farmhouse Laundry Room Sign – in true farmhouse style.

I’ve had so much fun playing with my Silhouette Cameo and all the tools and settings that come with it. This project was the perfect opportunity to try the roll feeder since my design was oversized at 12″ x 22″. Click over to the Silhouette blog to read the whole post and be sure to check out my Instagram stories for a little behind the scenes look at how I made my Farmhouse laundry room sign.

What I don’t show is the battle between vinyl and woman – I was having a really tough time getting the design to stick to the transfer tape – probably because I cut it out and let it sit for quite some time. But, with some maneuvering and some scissors, I was finally able to get my design on the transfer tape and on to my sign.

Also not shown: when I accidentally put the transfer tape down on the kitchen counter sticky side down and adhered my design to the counter. Let’s just say, I stopped with the crafts for the night after that one.

Now I just have to decide where to hang my Farmhouse laundry room sign and enjoy it while I fold towels.
