Craft Fair and Event Expenses – Free Printables

When you’re busy and on the go, I know it can be a challenge to keep track of your craft fair and event expenses. There are so many costs associated with promoting your business and selling at craft fairs and other events, keep these printables in your business binder or on your computer to quickly jot down your craft fair and event expenses as they pop up.
Having all these costs written down will make it easier when you sit down to do your small business bookkeeping. I have a hard time remembering what I ate for breakfast every day by dinner time, let alone what I paid for in the middle of a busy craft event so I make sure to write down all my craft fair and event expenses before I forget.
I also recommend keeping an envelope or a zippered bag handy to keep all your receipts together. Yes, it will be a hot mess when you get home, but at least they will all be in one place and you won’t have to hunt high and low for the receipt from your Saturday lunch.
I love sharing all the (hard) lessons I have learned from having my blog and Etsy shop for 10+ years. I share it all with you to show you how I learned to keep the financial side of my online business organized and profitable – messy steps and all.
How Does Completing a Craft Fair and Event Expenses Sheet Help My Small Business?
Like I said above, trying to capture your costs days (weeks? or months?) later is a recipe for disaster. Being able to quickly write something down and then circle back to it later is a huge help when I try to capture every penny spent on my business.
Last year I attended the Magical Media Retreat and ended up jotting down my weekend spending in a notebook and on a couple of sticky notes. It worked… but these printables would have been better and more professional looking too.
What If I Have Other Expenses?
These printables are just a starting point for you to get organized. You can write items down on the back if you need to or send me a message and let me know what I missed! The most important part is that you write them down or log them somewhere (Hello, notes app on my phone!) and stash away your receipts.
