Top Crafts of 2019

I loved meeting so many crafty people at Snap Conference in 2019. It was so much fun to meet other bloggers and crafters who totally understood what I was talking about when I mentioned SEO, photography challenges, or the constant struggle to make this corner of the internet a success with the tiny leftover hours of my day. I wish I could sew like Alicia. She makes the most colorful projects and I love her color-coded pattern. If anyone could make me want to try sewing, it is her.

I made this Thanksgiving apron and then made my sister wear it and hold a pie (my family has learned to just go with it when I make random requests). I love aprons and that it is a tradition I can carry on from my Grandma.

I am currently working on organizing and re-doing my craft space and I love how Candice made this fun and functional space in a closet. It just goes to show that you don’t need a ton of space to get work done and make everything ROYGBIV.

Beth uses Ric Rac for this lamp and I am a sucker for that trim. I love how easy but beautiful this update is.

I just bought another succulent for my desk because I even kill desert plants that should be indestructible. I love this little planter Beth made and the printable to go along with it.

DIY Paper Chain Backdrop by Pretty Life Girls

I loved hanging out in the booth that Liz and Sam designed at Snap Conference. I remember making these paper chains as a kid and I love this fun new use for a classic craft.

Easy Storage Cube Makeover by Home Crafts by Ali

Ali has a great before and after of this storage cube makeover. Bless her heart because I hate sanding furniture but this has me itching to try some paint projects.

5 Free SVG Hearts by My Designs in the Chaos

Michelle makes the most amazing SVG files and she has a whole freebie category on her blog! She hosts weekly Facebook lives using the files in creative ways and runs an amazing Facebook group where people can share, ask questions, and learn all about cutting machines.

Crossed Doubles Hat by 5 Little Monsters

I tried to crochet in the 8th grade. My blanket turned into a scarf and that scarf was long, skinny, and the borders were totally crooked. I will leave the beautiful crochet to Erica.

Mini Flower Pot Wreath by Sugar Bee Crafts

I think I may need to make these paper flowers and decorate my cubicle with my own Mandy-inspired flower pot wreath. It just looks so cheery and goodness knows my gray cubicle could use some cheer.

Chelly used Scrabble tiles on this versatile hoop wreath and I love it! Just think of all the fun sayings you would make with the tiles.

DIY Kinetic Sand by Artsy-Fartsy Mama

I can’t wait to make some of this Kinetic Sand with Jedidiah. Lindsay must have known I was just googling activities to do with Jedidiah on rainy days. He loves art projects (hooray!) and I know he will have a blast making sandcastles in the kitchen.
